“You are My witnesses,” declares the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, in order that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am He. Before me there was no God formed, and there will be none after me.”
Isaiah 43:10
Last week I realized that it has been 7 years since I surrendered my life to Christ. In a quiet dark room with just a pile of clothes, an air mattress and my Bible, I cried out to the Lord over a painful divorce. I made a promise to God to live a sold-out life for Him (a life that matters) if He showed up during that tough time and I haven’t looked back since. He delivered and 5 years of ministry and doing life with amazing people would follow. It has been an incredible ride for me and I feel this is just the beginning.
I have been compiling all my journals from the past 7 years into one big journal. Just going through them and reading how God worked in me during those times has been really inspiring for me. Since mid August I have felt the Lord tell me to be alert and ready because He has big plans in store for me. I’ve had an amazing first part of the year already. But today, God unveiled multiple paths for me that I am excited for. It’s awesome to be used as His witness for the Kingdom and it makes the tough times make more sense. The next 8 months are going to be incredible and I want to make sure that my heart is prepared and to make sure I’m following His will. One of things God did was deliver Phase 1 of my Africa trip. Both my application and deposit are in and now I’m off to build relationships and support to get people on board with what God will be doing with me while I’m there.
