The Weekend Missions teams are housed in a old hotel built in the 70’s called the Villa Granada. Mark Lastovica is the President and co-founder (and a friend of mine) of Weekend Missions and helped establish the ministry. I happened to be a part of Weekend Missions partnering with my old church Cornerstone back in 2009 and helped send the first team down there. Now many churches are partnering with them. I am thankful and blessed to finally have a chance to come here and see how the ministry has flourished. Conrado (Conrad) Flores was our host and gave us a tour of the hotel. Even though it still needs much work, you can see God already working and providing for their needs.
