So our next place didn’t go so well. These cows were a little more aggressive. As Julie and I went in to administer medicine to a bull (el toro), it got pissed. All the cattle ended up breaking through the fence and taking off. The natives had to go and round them all up and get them back. El toro didn’t forget and ended up chasing us all out of the pen. So we decided to leave this place for another day. Tom, Monika and Julie then held a workshop for the villagers on how to care for their animals as Hugo Jr translated. This trip really has opened my eyes to how important the animals are to these poor countries. I am grateful to be a part of this.
A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.
