Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. Philippians 1:9
Paul wrote this while in prison chained to a guard. I love this because God is using his circumstance to further the gospel. Paul has no fear of what is to come of him. For the first time today in a long time, I feel fully alive and free. It doesn’t matter to me anymore what happens to me. I have been betrayed, hurt, abandoned, mocked at, etc. by people I don’t know and people that I care about. I don’t care anymore because I know God uses me. And He will use these circumstances that I continually go through to be a light to others and He will further the gospel through me. I thank God for His love and grace on me and for always being there in times of need.
Lord, I need You, oh I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
