Today was a very emotional day for the team. Today we hosted an outreach for some people suffering from leprosy. You would think that this disease was only in Biblical times. But it is still a big deal in India. These people are outcasts in this society – the unclean. Many have lost their fingers and toes. Harvest India comes in and helps them get food and with finances. It was such a humbling experience meeting them. We had to split into two groups because of how many came (over 200). I was ask to share my testimony to them. God really spoke through me as I shared my story of struggling with self-worth and living up to people’s expectations. I let them know that God loves them and that they are worthy in His sight. We then distributed food to them after Josh presented the gospel to them. This was experience that I won’t forget.
