Living a life that Matters

John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world

I heard an amazing message awhile back about times of trouble are ahead and that in our Christian walk we should expect trouble – Big trouble. These times will be rough, it won’t make sense, it will hurt. Satan attacks from all over. Especially when our walk is going in the right direction. But in Christ we can find peace. We can find hope because He knows what we are going through. He doesn’t prescribe steps to make the pain go away or understanding to our trouble. But we can trust Him because we know He has overcome the world.

I heard this message and it touched my heart. Now I get to experience it firsthand. Life hurts. I am hanging onto the cross as an anchor of hope.
