Just finished doing the book Boundaries in my Lifegroup. What a time to exercise what I learned. Had an interesting day. Had an old friend of mine completely tear into me because of my Christianity. Also had another one try to ruin my of my close relationships due to bitterness. Pretty hardcore for two people I thought were friends. Yet I know that I don’t need this in my life and I am ready to surrender these friendships to God and move on (piggybacking on my last blog). God gives us blessings for this journey ahead. He puts good people in our lives to go along the path. We need to embrace those things that he gives us and not shut them out. I have an amazing friendship that needs healing from God. A friendship that God blessed me with. Satan is a relationship destroyer. He uses things like lies and gossip to destroy these relationships. He casts doubts and fears in our head. Yet God is with us. He is on our side. He is the ultimate healer. No weapon formed against us will prosper as long as we look to Him for strength.
