Tonight we were over at the Georgia World Congress Center. Steve Fee led worship and sang “Mighty to Save” as Chris Tomlin lead over at Philips Arena. The speaker tonight was Francis Chan. This was the first time I have ever heard him and was blown away. He spoke this message from Revelations 3:14-4:11 and described how awesome heaven will be. His passion and energy got me fired up to meet my heavenly father someday. After the session, I went into the Kneel (or prayer) room. It was this quiet room with a cross in it for people to spend some time in prayer. I journaled and prayed a prayer of thanks for how Christ had redeemed me from my divorce. I thanked him for walking me through the trials and for the life he has given me. I prayed for direction and that I will continue to surrender to his will.
