I really haven’t had the opportunity to discuss my trip to Belize. This was my first mission trip out of the country. I had heard from others that have gone about how amazing of an oppportunity it was. God really laid it upon my heart to go. It was just an amazing time. There were 27 of us that went from 2 different churches. It was just an amazing group of people. Everyone had a unique talent and gift that God used in different ways throughout the week. The missionaries in Belize had already been doing an amazing job in the 5 years they were there in ministering to these people. I really felt we made a difference in many of these people’s lives. We built a home for a family in need, distributed food, tutored children, and prayed for those in need. Our week ended with an amazing service that we were able put on for these people. We had a huge turnout! It was a blessing to see those people worshipping and praising God. This trip really changed my life. I also made some amazing friends and formed a special bond with the people on my team. I learned so much and God made so many things clear to me from this experience.
